Whopping Week 9
Wow, another whirlwind of a week has flown by and we are just about to head into our FINAL week of term 1. I am sure you will join the Ahuriri teachers in thinking what an amazing term it's been. We are so proud of each and everyone of the Ahuriri students. It has been wonderful to watch you grow and blossom over the term. We cannot wait to see what next term will hold.
This week we have been busy with so much but have chosen to include two big things which have really stood out for the children.
Ahuriri has been busy growing a range of veggies including silver beet, kale, carrots and tomatoes. Some of our wonderful students harvested these veggies, chopped them up (with lots of support and supervision of course) and have popped them in our freezer here at school for some Matariki cooking next term.
